Off-Season

On the south coast of England, sits the small seaside town of St Leonards-on-Sea, where I visited some friends in June 2018. A small walk along the seafront to the historic town of Hastings, which is where I found the old wooden huts where I would buy fish, caught that morning. Like many seaside towns in Great Britain Hastings, has a wonderful pier. It has recently been rebuilt and was opened in 2016. This narrative was taken over a few weeks, between Cooden and Hastings. This allowed for some interesting changes in light and weather, and being off-season, the absence of people sometimes left the place feeling a little deserted.
